Introduction
Welcome to my blog
If you find any glaring issues such as Spelling errors or missing information, I would be delighted to be corrected. I suffer from Dyslexia so I would like to work on my issues and mistakes revolving around my cognitive disabilities. So any pointers are warmly welcomed when coming from a place of care and kindness.
For a brief look at who I am, I will share here and throughout my blog as I work on these drafts. Keep in mind that these may change as I grow and learn, I change my mind a lot and keeping to specific projects is quite hard. My attention span for specific projects can be very high or non-existent depending on how I feel or if stuff gets tedious to work on. You may notice this if I do constantly post as I may make ginormous blogs for stuff I'm extremely passionate about while other stuff may only have a few words. I'm quite critical of my own work and have a very perfectionist view of my own endeavours. So I might present my frustrations on works that do not meet my own expectations. I work with a lot of colour and Western cartoon-like projects. With exaggeration, crude or light-hearted humour. Referencing other media, from some British comedy, western cartoons, games and Anime. I like to work with stylisation and will express the media styles that I try to reference. Images of how I work stuff out such as failed experiments, photo or video Referencing and previously made projects.
I will try to express in great detail how I use programs, tools and materials. With screenshots, photos, videos and detailed explanations. I will try to go into detail on the prices of all these creative tools and materials and my preferences on why I use them. I will try to also recommend cheaper alternatives for those who suffer from financial issues, or those who are starting on a low budget and or are experimenting with their creative options.
I want to create my own animated series with my characters in a story I'm working on revolving around them. I hope that this animated feature will be highly detailed, incorporating atmospheric music and a clear narrative. Making a deep and lore-riddled story that takes place in a twisted world relating to places here in the UK. I want this to be a personal animated feature that won't be a mainstream show that's linked up to giant companies or networks. Just something I'll post and present myself. I'm also considering the possibility of making a game revolving around the same characters and story. Either a free-roaming 3D or 2D game.
